Should I Confess (even though I am not Catholic)?

Yesterday evening I decided that I wanted to go see Madonna after reading on Madonnalicious that the Madison Square Garden just released for tickets for the July 19th show. And these seats were really good. The were floor seats right in front of the catwalk. I asked my housemate if he would be interested in going, and he was in. I ended calling my buddy Marius to see if he was in as well ... he was. The only problem was that 3 tickets were available on the floor, only crappy nosebleed-seats.
If I am going to spend $350 on a ticket I want the performer to be close enough to smack me in the face with any appendage.
NYC was a bust not only because there weren't enough tickets available, it was also the fact that Marius couldn't get away on that day. The last two shows are in Miami on July 22nd and 23rd (Saturday and Sunday) and by some weird coincedence he was thinking about going to Miami for that particular weekend. Mostly for the Cuban men, ... not specifically for Madonna.
The flight is cheap from DFW to Miami ($300 roundtrip) and everything looked like it would work out. Once again, I can't find 3 floor tickets that are together. I have been searching ebay and ticket brokers but no one had 3 floor seats. Merde!
Here are my options:
- Get 3 crappy seats on Saturday.
- Get 3 crappy seats on Saturday, and 1 awesome floor seat for me on Sunday.
- Get 2 awesome floor seats on Saturday and Sunday (going with each buddy on seperate days0.
- Get 2 awesome floor seats on Saturday and Sunday just for me.
I am really hoping that American Airlines Arena in Miami will open up some seats in the next few days. Even when a concert is "sold out" it is never really completely sold. I still have a couple of weeks so we will see how thing work out.
This will cost me a tons of greenbacks, but I have a credit card that I rarely take advantage of and I could pay myself back in 3 months. And the fact that I am complete afraid of flying will not deter me.
Should I save myself the time an money and just go see Mariah Carey screech out the hits for $150 seat in the 8th row? I like Mariah, but she isn't a live performer.
Well ... she was before "Mimi" was "crazy".
She'll just be walking around the stage in tiny outfits accessoried with clear stripper heals while trying her hardest to stay on key. Also, I have the feeling that her concert will be canceled due to low ticket sales.
This is the time I wish I knew people in high places so I could submit a favor.
Anyone have tickets? I am just putting it out into the blogsphere.
