… I am glad I am not there at the moment.

Buffalo in a course of a day got 2 FEET of snow, and it is still October. Snow is October is not uncommon for the Western/Central New York area, but this is ridiculous.
I still remember the storm in 2000 that hit just before Thanksgiving. I was stuck in my dorm door for 2 days before I was able to get home on Thanksgiving Day. It was so bad that Amtrak shutdown all train service to and from the area. All I had in my fridge was microwaveable hot dogs and condiments. My journey to the grocery story, which is about a 5-10 minutes, took almost 2 hours.
Good times!
Even with all that said … I miss having snow.
