It has been a weeks since I have decide that I would go semi-vegetarian for the month of April. I am cutting back the amount of meat I am eating to only one serving per day, and some days I haven’t had meat at all. I have been getting these big salads from Whole Foods Market and they only cost me about $6, and has a variety of veggies. I am thinking of making this permanent but I am slowly weening myself off of meat so it will take me a few weeks.
I have been thinking of going vegetarian for the past couple of years. I have been eating mostly organic foods for the past year, and now with this “pink slime” controversy I am kind of put off on meat. I watched “Food, Inc.” and “Forks Over Knives” again as well as other documentaries about food and I am more willing to give up meat.
