Trippin'
Yeah, yeah, yeah ... I have been neglecting my blog, so what! I have been busying living life that I haven't had time to sit and form coherent sentences. I am back now, and somewhat coherent.
Austin was a total wash out and I didn't get to play tennis on that Saturday and Sunday. That Monday, I was going to play because it was nice and sunny but I was just fed up and decided to go home earlier. But I later found out they had a "mini-tournament" and handed out trophies on that Monday. I inquired about getting a refund, but they will not offer one but will probably give out discounted admission next year. I will more than likely will not be in Texas next year so it is kind of worthless.
Anyway ...
This past weekend I found myself in Houston, Texas mostly for emotional support for the Greek. He had to drive four hours down to get his Visa renewed this past Wednesday and he was going to stay until the following Sunday. He was in a state, and was upset that I was not coming with him. He was really down. So while he packed, I hopped on the Internet to see how I can get down to Houston. Greyhound would have been too long and uncomfortable, drive a rented car would have been tedious and expensive, flying ... well, if you know me then you know that I have issues with flying. I haven't been on a plane since September 26, 2001 so I wasn't really considering this mode of transportation. The flight was only $100 and 35 minutes long ... so I ended up flying. I told the Greek my plans and he immediately became happy again.
I landed in Houston at around 9pm on Friday and I ended up waiting for 20 minutes because the Greek got lost. We got to the place he was staying, we went out to eat at a nearby restaurant, and then it was back to the Inn so I could sleep.
Saturday after we went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science to see the Body Worlds 3 collection. If you get the chance, and if it comes to your town, you should really check it out. The collection uses human cadavers that has been plasticized in varies poses with various organs showing. It was a bit freaky, but really interesting.

Saturday Night was the main reason why I was in Houston. The Greek wanted to go to this party at a club called South Beach for "Madonnarama".

It was okay. The music was way too loud and it just sounded garbled. It was interesting because the Greek had this Madonna shirt in his apartment and I jokingly tried it on. It was a medium, and I thought there was no way I was getting into that shirt. Not only did it fit, I actually kind of good in it. I was urged to wear it at "Madonnarama" so he packed it and brought for me. I was hestitent to wear the shirt because it was tight so I put a polo over it and went to the club.
It got hot quickly so I was debating whether or not to take of the polo, exposing the madonna shirt. I couldn't take the heat anymore so I removed the polo.

There were about 5 guys with same shirt but my shirt was by far the tightest ... and it got me a bit of attention. Some guys complimented my shirt, some guys grabbed my chested ... it was horrible ... and I LOVED IT!!! The Greek was not happy with this turn of events and became a bit jealous. We ended up leaving and I was groped yet again. It was a fun night, but I was glad to leave.
Left early the next day, and drove 4 hours to Dallas. It was an uneventful drive ... but there are two towns right next to each other with interesting names. The towns of Ennis and Alma; if you seen Brokeback Mountain then you know where I am getting at.
